Our senior team has over sixty years of experience in transaction and investment support. As well as advising, we are able to empathise with clients undertaking investment decions. We have ourselves participated in MBOs, bought and sold a variety of businesses, and invested in companies whilst working in acquisitive corporates, private equity houses, and fund management.

Scott A. Reed

Scott Reed is a founding partner of BankCap Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm that provides growth capital for the development of mid-size regional banks across the United States. Scott’s professional experience spans derivatives trading, consulting, investment banking, and corporate strategy and planning. As a trader for Swiss Bank Corporation Scott managed a diverse portfolio on the Pacific Stock Exchange in San Francisco. He has worked for Bain & Company, where he focused on corporate strategy for numerous Fortune 100 companies and for Bear Stearns, working in the Financial Institutions Group and focusing on mergers and acquisitions and debt capital markets transactions. Mr. Reed received his B.A. in history and his B.S. in Commerce degrees from the University of Virginia. He received his master’s degree in Business Administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College (1998), where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar.
